Description
This shopping center is strategically located on a block that connects two neighborhoods that are currently separated by a railroad: Palermo Hollywood and Palermo Soho. The project consisted of the transformation of existing railway viaducts and the construction of new ones to house retail stores. A 400 vehicle underground parking lot was also required. The heart of the shopping center is a wide open-air walkway with a very particular design. Arcos District also has service areas, locker rooms, restrooms and administrative offices. The tight completion deadline for completion posed a real engineering challenge and required intensive task.
